In the last month, we have had three people interested in learning more about Harvest. Dominique has her pilot training completed already, and she is interested in being an apprentice mechanic. There are also two other young men, who are at various stages in their training, that hope to come out to the hanger in April as well. These young potential apprentices are an answer to prayer. We continue to ask God to send workers for the harvest, especially young people!
While we were working in the hangar last week, One of our board members received a phone call from a sister mission aviation organization. They have offered to donate a twin-engine Cessna 401 airplane to us. We accepted the offer, and we will begin making plans to see the plane. It will require some maintenance to get it airworthy, but minimal work considering the blessing the plane will be to Harvest. Another answer to our prayers!
Chad Peal passed his instrument check ride in March! The exam, which involves an oral assessment and in-flight test, took the entire day. We are very proud of Chad and his efforts, and we are very thankful for your prayers for Chad. Chad’s next step is to study for his commercial written exam, and then to start another phase of training. After training there will be another check ride for his commercial license. In a letter Darla and I received from Chad, he said, I'm not 100% sure how in the world God worked you into our lives, but you guys have been a tremendous blessing for our family. Darla and I are so thankful for our prayer partners and financial supporters who come along side us so we can serve this younger generation of missionaries, and have a front row seat to watch God's plan for their lives unfold.
